A challenging route through the beautiful Hampshire countryside Starting and finishing at Sparsholt College in Winchester, the 2020 edition of one of the hardest sportives on the calendar will combine all the most challenging climbs that the beautiful South Downs National Park has to offer. Plenty of hills putting meaning behind the name! You'll be treated to beautiful woodland, stunning countryside, quaint villages and of course, amazing views from the tops of the climbs. With a fully signed and marshalled course with feed stations along the route supporting you all the way, there's no reason why you should wait in ticking off one of the best sportives in the country. Full mechanical support on the route and a medal, drinks, snacks* and chipped timing await those who finish. If the 100 mile route is a bit too much, we have a mid length distance at ~60 miles. Need a place to stay? Up to 25 en-suite bedrooms (19 single, 5 twin and 1 double) available to hire for guests to stay in Westley Court on site. This has 3* Visit England accreditation. Single charged at £49.15/night and twin or double £67.75/night. Tea and coffee making facilities provided but as our catering staff are not on site in August, no milk will be provided or breakfasts available. Based at Ellingham Lake as the venue for the swim section: beautifully clean and sheltered! The bike will take in rolling terrain across the north of the New Forest and the run is a mix of road and trail. We are planning for this event to go ahead with social distancing procedures in place. There will be no camping this year. Update 17th July 2020 We have now SOLD out. Bournemouth International Triathlon is located on the west side of Bournemouth Pier. Both sprint and standard distance swims start on the award winning blue flag beach before heading out of Bournemouth on a fast bike course towards the market town of Ringwood on the edge of The New Forest. Bournemouth was one of the first Triathlons to hit the south coast, its been raced by thousands, including Olympians and Triathletes that went onto to become pros! COVID 19 Update, we are confident that this event will happen in a socially distanced way. British Triathlon have issued the Event permit and we are ready to go ! Beaulieu is extra special at it is usually privately owned (including the river bed) It is own by Lord Montagu if Beaulieu. The river is some 12 miles (19 km) long, of which the last 4 miles (6 km) are tidal. We are going to make the best use of this tide and swim the 3.8K from Beaulieu to Bucklers Hard on a leaving tide! The finish line will be the historic Bucklers Hard. Bucklers Hard was once a significant shipbuilding centre, building many wooden sailing ships, both merchant and naval, including Nelson's Agamemnon. The event date is Saturday 12th September 2020 and the start time is 6:30am to ensure we catch the tide right and we are all out of the river before it become busy with boats ! We will coach you to the start 2.5 miles away at Beaulieu. You will enter the river and all start together. There is a lovely footpath that runs alongside the river which is great for friends and family to support you! Lovely medal for all finishers.

A middle distance triathlon in an iconic location The start, transition and finished are all based in the historic Bucklers's Hard, The 1.9K swim is in the stunning Beaulieu River. The 90K Ride is through the stunning New Forest and the 22km run is through quiet lanes and river coastal path. Ideal event for quick times, first timers, family times and GB Age group qualifying times! Awesome medal, finishers t-shirt and post event food! Please note the new date, if you have already entered, there is no need to do anything we have moved you. Thruxton Mass Attack Duathlon is based at the famous Thruxton Race Circuit near Andover, Hampshire, making it perfect for the speed hungry athlete! The course comprises a wide, smooth, tarmac circuit making the duathlon suitable for beginners and experienced competitors alike. The event will be run as a time trial to comply with social distancing. Each athlete will be set off individually with a rolling start. There are two options to choose from Sprint Distance • RUN 1 = 3.793 km (1 lap) • BIKE = 18.965 km (5 laps) • RUN 2 = 3.793 km (1 lap) STANDARD DISTANCE • RUN 1 = 11.379 km (3 laps) • BIKE = 37.93 km (10 laps) • RUN 2 = 3.793 km (1 lap)

The famous Southampton Airport's Runway Run is bigger and better than ever! This time we are going neon! The run will be at night after the last plane has landed. The runway will be lit with the landing lights making a truly awesome experience! .The event will be officially timed and with a course this straight, smooth and flat as a pancake, this event is all about the PBs. It also promises to be tremendous fun, with music and a warm-up. Sustainability is massively important to Southampton Airport, so it will also be a plastic-free event, with water in recycled paper cartons and other sustainable goodies being handed to participants on the way out. All money raised by the Runway Run will go directly into the Southampton Hospital Charity . As it is an operational runway, non-runners won’t be able to access the course but an extra special viewing area will be available on the top floor of the adjacent car park so they don’t miss out on any of the action. So grab your head torch and best neon colours and light up the runway!

The New Forest Rattler is the original New Forest Sportive, in the stunning New Forest National Park. Set up in 2012 by a passionate cyclist, this family run event puts the rider in the heart of everything it does. The event evolved in 2019 when Triathlete Kelly got involved and decided it was too much of a great opportunity not to spend the weekend swimming, cycling, running and camping with friends! The Cycle gives you three options to choose, 47 miles, 82 miles or the Epic 102 miles. Each route takes in the very best of the New Forest where you will encounter the famous free roaming wildlife. Horses, donkeys, pigs, deer and cows all roam in the New Forest so don’t be surprised if there are a few donkeys chilling out in the middle of the road. The ride is fully supported with a mechanic, medics, feed stations and well sign posted. You will be rewarded at the end with a fantastic medal. The Sunday is run day! There are choices of 5k, 10K, Half marathon or full marathon. The course is a mixture of quiet country roads and off road trail. You get to run along Hampton Ridge, providing stunning views of the forest. Aid stations and fab medal for all finishers. The Swim has unfortunately been cancelled this year due to moving the date from June to October (Cheers Corona!) You can enter one event or if you are up for it enter the ride and run! Lots of options to choose making it perfect for a training weekend with mates. Under 16s get to ride free with their responsible adult and can take part with their adult in the 5K ** ** The event will be fully COVID secure and Track and Trace compliant**

The event is a low tide beach run along the beautiful shoreline of Bournemouth Beach heading out towards Sandbanks Beach. You start and finish on the west side of the pier. Both 5km and 10km distances are available to enter. The groynes will slow you down which is all part of the fun. This year its Halloween so we would love to see as many dressed up runners as we can! Doggy friends are welcome to run with their hoomans, make sure they are wearing suitable harnesses and leads. The event will be COVID Secure and run under socially distancing conditions plus comply with track and trace. You race number will be send to you in the post (If you enter more than three weeks before events day) This will reduce the queue on registration. You will be allocated an arrival and start time, these will be staggered throughout the morning. Groups will start with individuals being 2m apart.

The Romsey 5 Mile Run is set within the grounds of The Broadlands Estate, once the home of The Earl Mountbatten of Burma. The surface is mainly tarmac with a short distance of smooth hardcore. The course is 3 laps of the estate making it one of the flattest 5 mile races in the county and as such attracts athletes from further afield looking for a PB time. This running event is also perfect for first timers just starting out.

The Winchester 10km Road Race started back in 1983 as a 10 mile distance. The race adopted the popular 10km format in the late 1980's. The 2021 edition of The Winchester 10km Road Race with be held on Sunday 21st February 2021. The race will feature a 1 lap route is a mix of urban and countryside starting outside the historic Winchester Guildhall in The Broadway. This year features a revised start with the race leaving the Broadway via the exit next to King Alfred's statue. The route heads up St George's Street before going out towards the village of Kingsworthy. The return leg passes through the village of Headbourne Worthy and back towards Winchester before finishing at The North Walls Recreation Centre.

The Swanage Triathlon Festival is set in the seaside town of Swanage which resides in an area of outstanding beauty know as The Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. There are a number of options to choose from - Aquathlon Sprint Triathlon Standard Triathlon Middle Distance Triathlon Long Swim 2.5K or 5K With these many options, its the perfect club away weekend where there is something for everyone. The routes are challenging but the views are worth it, we promise! Swanage is wonderful little seaside town with a whole alot for the family to do. This is a true weekend away that happens to involve Triathlon!
